[jira] [Created] (NETBEANS-2305) Netbeans does not open recent files upon restart after termination

Gary Greenberg created NETBEANS-2305:
----------------------------------------

Summary: Netbeans does not open recent files upon restart after termination
                 Key: NETBEANS-2305
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-2305
             Project: NetBeans
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: editor - Other
    Affects Versions: 9.0, 8.2, 10.0
            Reporter: Gary Greenberg

If Netbeans was terminated ungracefully (either by the system, or crashed, or killed by the user due to software freezing), then upon restart it does not open files in the editor that were opened prior to termination, but files that were open several days or even weeks ago.

The list of opened files shall be updated when user opens/closes them, not when IDE is gracefully closed.
