Hi, 

I had the same problem and managed to solve it this way:

The generated "org.apache.karaf.eik.update.zip" can be found in <eik
root>\features\org.apache.karaf.eik.update\target\

Then just add a new repository in the Eclipse "Install software" window and
point to the generated "org.apache.karaf.eik.update.zip"
