[~gnodet], [~jbonofre], [~ffang], wdyt? Also - DBCP2 requires javax.transaction.xa in version 1.1, so the "partial" export from JRE should have version specified. Only this worked for me:

 javax.transaction.xa; version="1.1", partial=true; mandatory:=partial, \
