Reg : deleting on the basis of date pattern

Hi,
    I am running a script to delete files from a folder .I am using the property where we need to specify , before , after or equal.By default its equal.
When I am setting it to before or after its working fine,but not when I am setting it to equal.
I have specified the date in pattern -" MM/dd/yyyy HH:mm aa ".
What else i need to do to make it run ?
