[users@httpd] httpd processes running too long

Hello,

Until severals weeks my httpd processes are running during too long
time.
When i send a 'top' command, the return show that ~20 httpd running and
time is > 400.00.
So my server is running really slow ... :(

Any ideas / solutions would be great ;)

(Sorry for my bad english ...)
