[jira] [Created] (INFRA-11407) Git-based website for Kudu podling

Todd Lipcon created INFRA-11407:
-----------------------------------

Summary: Git-based website for Kudu podling
                 Key: INFRA-11407
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-11407
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Website
            Reporter: Todd Lipcon

Hi,

The Kudu podling would like to start migrating its website from github pages to the ASF. https://blogs.apache.org/infra/entry/git_based_websites_available mentions that it's possible to publish from a git branch.

We use Jekyll for templating. Is there a workflow by which the pubsub mechanism will automatically run jekyll for us? Or do we need to do our own scripting to publish static HTML to the asf-site branch?
