I need to output a dynamically generated PDF document to a web browser.
Can some tell me if Id be better to use a separate window for this, or
will it work OK if i just use the current window for this.
ive noticed that the View Source option is removed after a PDF is displayed

I had a similar problem: we were using XEP for dynamic PDF creation and it
worked just fine with some browsers, but IE 5 failed to display the
content. I did quite a lot of investigations and finally concluded that IE5
has a nasty bug: it is not able to display a dinamically created PDF while
that same PDF, when stored on the server's disk instead sent directory to
IE, is shown just fine.
The solution is to disable Acrobat plugin integration within IE. Open
Acroread, Options and then look for the checkbox. We have an official
statement on the site which suggests just that. Everything works, customer
happy :-)
Additionally, some combinations of IE/Acroread might work just fine, and
some fail sadly.
