How to get all dependencies, including those of project depending on

Hi,

I want to check versions of all dependencies (jars) of a project. For
this I want to get all dependencies, even the deps of projects the
current project depends on (e.g. A depends on B, then I want to get
compile.dependencies of A and B).

Is this possible?

Or are there already some tools to make sure, that one does not pull
unwanted/conflicting dependencies via transitive()? (or just make this
issue visible)
