org.apache.hadoop.ipc.RemoteException: Unauthorized connection for
super-user
Hi All,
When I ran the oozie job I am getting the exception "Unauthorized connection for super-user". Following are few details about configuration and error logs. I tried the same configuration and version in my local machine and I am able to run the job in my local machine. But in production environment getting the above exception. Please help me.
Version
Hadoop - 1.0.4
Oozie - 3.3.0
I run oozie as well as hadoop in user "hduser"
I have attached oozie-site.xml , hadoop core-site.xml and error trace from oozie log.
In hadoop core-site.xml, for proxy hosts I tried giving localhost, hades and ip address, but nothing worked out
Thanks,
Savitha

Also, please double check that 'hduser' belongs to group 'hadoop'.

Hi, Savitha
Error message indicates
====
org.apache.oozie.service.AuthorizationException: E0902: Exception occured: [org.apache.hadoop.ipc.RemoteException: Unauthorized connection for super-user: hduser from IP ]
====
Considering it was working on local machine, this might be related to hadoop.proxyuser.hduser.hosts in core-site.xml
Does it work if you put IP or hostname of production oozie server here? (also I believe NameNode needs to refresh config to take new value)
Thanks
Ryota
