   @geertjanw could you please contact oracle ops? The URL JLOPS is talking about is:
   http://updates.netbeans.org/netbeans/updates/8.2/uc/final/distribution/catalog.xml.gz
   it gets redirected to:
   https://updates.netbeans.org/netbeans/updates/8.2/uc/final/distribution/catalog.xml.gz
   
   The redirect would be ok, but the https version presents an TLS certificate, that is only valid for download.oracle.com:
   
   ```
   DNS-Name: download.oracle.com
   DNS-Name: epd-akam-us.oracle.com
   DNS-Name: epd-akam-ca.oracle.com
   DNS-Name: epd-akam-intl.oracle.com
   DNS-Name: aru-akam.oracle.com
   ```
   
   This is most probably the same issue, as the travis problems already reported to the mailinglist. It might be helpful for Ops to have a reference, that show an identical problem for the openjdk project:
