sql tables to XML(indexing SQL tables)

I have just starting using  solr  and with the help of documentation
available I can't  figure out if Is there any way with which I can convert

SQL data into XML so that I can index them in solr.

 

 

Can anyone help me on that.

Did you look at the DataImportHandler
