[jira] [Created] (HBASE-9011) Add timeouts to possibly silently
failing tests
stack created HBASE-9011:
----------------------------
Summary: Add timeouts to possibly silently failing tests
Key: HBASE-9011
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-9011
Project: HBase
Issue Type: Task
Reporter: stack
Attachments: timeouts.txt
Doing a compare of the list of tests that show under hbase-server when tests pass and the build passes compared to the list when all tests 'pass' but the build fails, a few show up w/ some regularity:
{code}
43a44,45
> Running org.apache.hadoop.hbase.coprocessor.TestAggregateProtocol
> Running org.apache.hadoop.hbase.coprocessor.TestBigDecimalColumnInterpreter
80a83
> Running org.apache.hadoop.hbase.mapreduce.TestCellCounter
83a87
> Running org.apache.hadoop.hbase.mapreduce.TestHRegionPartitioner
87a92
> Running org.apache.hadoop.hbase.mapreduce.TestMultiTableInputFormat
5
94a100
> Running org.apache.hadoop.hbase.mapreduce.TestTableMapReduceUtil
{code}
I removed TestMultiTableInputFormat already over in HBASE-9009. Let me add timeouts to all other tests.
