You'll have to build the jekyll website outside of gitwcsub (which you already have to with svnpubsub).

gitwcsub is very much like svnwcsub, in that the SCM server you're pushing to has a commit hook that notices the event, and the daemon on the webserver is relayed that even, and it triggers a git pull.

Currently, gitwcsub requires the generated generated site to be on the asf-site branch.

You are welcome to use svnwcsub, but just letting you know gitwcsub is an option as well. :)
