[Issue 128384] New: Fontwork Gallery - unlimited number of instances
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=128384
Issue ID: 128384
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Fontwork Gallery - unlimited number of instances
Product: General
Version: 4.1.7
Hardware: PC
OS: Windows 7
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: Trivial
Priority: P5 (lowest)
Component: ui
Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
Reporter: czeslaw.wolanski@gmail.com
Target Milestone: ---
Created attachment 86953
--> https://bz.apache.org/ooo/attachment.cgi?id=86953&action=edit
Relevant screenshots
Steps to demonstrate:
1. choose menu 'View > Toolbars > FontWork'
(makes visible Fontwork toolbar)
2. click on "Fontwork Gallery" icon
(Fontwork Gallery dialog appears)
3. click again on "Fontwork Gallery" icon
(new instance of Fontwork Gallery dialog appears over
the first instance of the dialog)
Expected result: only once instance of the Fontwork Gallery dialog
shall be invoked (as with clicking on Fontwork Gallery icon
on the Drawing toolbar).
Notes:
1. There is a distinct difference between AOO Writer and other
components Calc, Draw, Impress) as regards the appearance of a mouse
pointer. If one moves cursor outside Fontwork Gallery dialog:
- in AOO Writer mouse pointer changes the look to "Busy"
- in other components mouse pointer retains its look i.e.
"Normal Select".
2. Issue observed in both AOO 4.1.7 and AOO 4.2.0-dev
3. Unlimited number of object's instances was also reported in
Issue 128337 and Issue 128347.

Thanks for confirmation in Windows 10.
And my apologies for stupid mistake in the attached image (wrong description
and missing screenshot from AOO Draw).
Correct version shall be attached to a separate issue.

There should be only one issue per report. Please add the above as a separate
issue.
