ambari-server upgrade is hard-coded against postgres and uses the upgrade script for postgres (Ambari-DDL-Postgres-UPGRADE-1.3.0.sql). We need to add support for upgrade when Ambari is using oracle. As Oracle DB support was added in 1.2.4.9 the upgrade script itself will be minimal (perhaps only metainfo modification).
ambari-server upgrade can use ambari.properties file to figure out the target DB and decide which script to use for upgrade.
