[jira] Updated: (GERONIMO-1566) Binary distributions (both zip and tgz) contain a META-INF/manifest.mf file under the geronimo-1.0 directory.

John Sisson updated GERONIMO-1566:
----------------------------------

    Description:
The binary distributions (both zip and tgz) contain a META-INF/manifest.mf file under the geronimo-1.0 directory.

Fixed. The assembly-plugin has been enhanced to look at a "geronimo.assemble.unpack.exclude.manifest" property (true/false value) when unpacking the jar file containing the scripts.

  was:
The binary distributions (both zip and tgz) also contain a META-INF/manifest.mf file. It's not at the root level of the archive like in the src dist, but is it necessary? This is a minor issue, but if we end up touching the packaging scripts for this JIRA anyway then we could consider removing those files from the binary dists as well.

(This issue has been split out from GERONIMO-1456).
