Failed on ubuntu-14.04 with  maven 3.0.5
Error:
A required class was missing while executing org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-site-plugin:3.4:stage: org/apache/commons/lang/StringUtils
mvn -version
------------------
Apache Maven 3.0.5
Maven home: /usr/share/maven

Work arounds: 
1) http://wiki.apache.org/commons/VfsProblems
2) Bump up the maven version 3.2.3 
  

Can we specify in FAQ section as this is a bug in ubuntu14.04 & maven combination.
