I want to upgrade the iOS Weex Playground
Hi
I want to upgrade the iOS Weex Playground.As an iOS development, what do I need to do?

We can transfer the existing Weex
Playground to a new Apple ID, and then create a new one App ID org.apache.weexplayground after the transfer.

After negotiation with ASF and current owner of Weex Playground, I think
it's better if we could delete existing one as this will solve the
trademark issue.
@yaochenfeng <28...@qq.com> You could start Apache Source Code release
for Weex Playground any time, as what I'm going to do(delete an existing
App, create a new one) won't block you. What do you think?

You could still call a Apache Source release for Playground even if you are
not an Apache committer.
And I will handle the job that requires the privilege of Apache committer.
Did you create theorg.apache.weex.playground App ID for weex-playground?

needs approval from both my employer and ASF. Maybe remove existing one is

It may be better to transfer first. It's easier for apple to review. After the transfer, let's create a new app ID.

2. Create a new App ID, something like org.apache.weex.playground
3. Create publishing certificate and profiles, and then create
WeexPlayground in App Store Connect or In-House.

So the procedure is the following,
1. Remove the existing Weex Playground as we can't change its App ID
2. Create a new App ID, something like org.apache.weex.playground
3. Create publishing certificate and profiles, and then create
WeexPlayground in App Store Connect or In-House.
If this is the case, could you please find if there is anything we need to
change in the code [1] of Weex Playground, like removing
com.taobao.XXXXXXXXX ?
I will handle the step 1 and 2 .

I think the Apple Developer account owned by ASF is managed by Apache
instructure team.

This is a tricky problem due to some historical reasons. Weex once owned by
Alibaba Group, so did Weex Playground. After dontating to Apache Software
Foundation(ASF), it would be a serious violation of ASF's trademark if we
continue publishing the playground [1] under the name of Taobao(or
Alibaba). That's reason why we stop upgrade Weex iOS playground.
Considering the fact that ASF owns an Apple Developer account [1], I think
we have the following options:
- Transfer the current weex-playground [1] on App Store from Taobao
(China) Software to ASF, then we can upgrade it under the control of ASF.
- Or, we could remove the current weex-playround [1] from App Store and
upload a new one.
What do you think? I can be be bridge of Taobao (China) Software and ASF if
you need communcation with the company or ASF.
