another SQL and XSP question

Hi there,

would it be posible to handle the results of the SQL
queries in the XSP code (ie. to write code that can do
something programatic with the data) ?!

I guess I could write some Java class to make a query
and execute the depending logic, but being very lazy
person by nature, I would rather prefer to use Cocoon
for a simple "if record exist do that" kind of thing.
