[GitHub] [druid] abhishekagarwal87 opened a new pull request #12133: Slack is the preferred way to get help

Updated the index page to say that slack is the preferred way to get help. In recent times, developers are more active on slack than they are on the mailing list. Honestly, I didn't even know that we had a mailing list.

I think as a user, my first thinking will be why not directly go to slack since that is not specifically reserved for dev-related discussion. The reason that I want to promote one over another is that it's too much to be active on two different forums.

I do see your point, however. I am wondering if there is a way to cross-post a question on the druid user group to druid slack channel so any activity happening on druid user group is also visible on slack.

Promoting Slack sounds good, but I don't want to depremote the user group because it's indexed by search engines whereas Slack is not. Maybe the wording should be something like "users should file their issue in the user group first and then talk about it with developers on Slack".
