Apache Searching

Are you people who mirror apache interested in having a local version of the
apache search engine held on your server, meaning that when people goto your
apache mirror and do a search it points to the data held on your server
rather than what is held back at apache hq

I have posed the question to the people who have written the index and am
waiting to see what they have to come back with.

I think it would be easier to set it up so all search results are sent
back to the site that referred the user to the search engine in the first
place. That way you don't have to convince anyone to run CGIs on their
mirror sites.
