eazi-est estimating program

Up until now I have been able to use Open Office in place of  Microsoft Excel with no problems. However, I have purchased an estimating program known as  “EAZI-EST” which will not function on Open Office. Any suggestions as to how t overcome this? And if you are already aware of this issue, are you addressing the issue?
