cannot type into tinymce in a ajax modal window both in firefox and IE

I  have the tinymce text area   in a  ajax modal window , the tinymce rich
text  editor shows up but i cannot type anything into it , it works if I
remove tiny mce behaviour,  its not working in foirefox  as well in IE,
please help me resolve this ,
