[jira] [Created] (NETBEANS-5076) File operations fail when using
symbolic linsk to directories/packages
Jorge created NETBEANS-5076:
-------------------------------
Summary: File operations fail when using symbolic linsk to directories/packages
Key: NETBEANS-5076
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-5076
Project: NetBeans
Issue Type: Bug
Components: editor - Refactoring
Affects Versions: 12.1
Environment: NetBeans 12.1, Windows 10,
Reporter: Jorge
For some time now I have been observing errors when copying, moving and renaming files. Finally, I was able to establish that such errors occur when I work with files that are in directories or packages that are, or are contained, directly or indirectly, in a directory that is a symbolic link to another directory. My development environment is Windows 10, and the links were created using MKLINK. The easiest way to reproduce the error is by copying and pasting a class in the same package (if it meets the conditions stated before). For example, when copying class Klass I get a file named Klass_1 that contains a class that is still called Klass.
