Minor annoyance with i8n

Well, I have an English XP installation with German local settings and
Spanish and Greek adjustments (like my timezone etc.)
With the whole mix up I tend to prefer having the programs in English.
Now, svn picks up the German settings and insists on talking German to
me, which is not a problem in itself, it's just that it gets on my nerves.
Is there a way to convince it to switch back to English? (I'm sure there
is, I'm just to lazy to search)

Oh, and I have to say, these assumptions about the language to use are
very annoying to us quadrilingual programmers :)
Just because my keyboard has a german layout does not mean that my
system has german Windows. I guess it's more a Windows problem, but I
would love to be able to choose the language at installation time.
Cheers,
V.-

Ack.

There are more drawbacks. IMO localization of SVN messages was not one of
the best ideas.

You know about the LC_* environment variables?

If you don't want to change it, try to rename the locale directory of
subversion. If it complains, create an empty locale directory.

"Ceterum censeo" the list software should set the Reply-To: to the
list address.
