Hi,

How about "an OSGI based runtime for creating enterprise servers". To me the word assembling implies that everything you need exists in Karaf and it is just a case of pulling different bits from Karaf together. I don't think this is what is intended.

Why would we limit Karaf to the integration world ?
Karaf may be used as the base platform for ActiveMQ,  Directory,
James,  Geronimo, ServiceMix.  All of those are not necesseraly geared
toward integration imho, and even if they were, Karaf itself does not
have anything specific to this area imho.

I still think David's the best choice so far:
