[jira] [Commented] (JAMES-3217) Describe how to include dependencies for the James Basic Server

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JAMES-3217?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17139153#comment-17139153 ]

David Leangen commented on JAMES-3217:
--------------------------------------

The project at https://github.com/ieugen/james-self-hosting-sandbox provides an interesting model to follow, but because it is a private project it is not in itself appropriate for community use. We should consider setting up a more community-oriented project based on this idea.

If the Basic Server is set up using this kind of model, then the problem of dependencies gets resolved, so this issue is no longer relevant.

I may have to raise a similar issue however once I start to address the "Extendable Server".
