Here's a v4 patch that fixes

[ERROR] /data/apurtell/src/phoenix/phoenix-core/src/main/java/org/apache/phoenix/mapreduce/util/ConnectionUtil.java:[76,31] cannot find symbol
[ERROR] symbol:   method extractProperties(java.util.Properties,org.apache.hadoop.conf.Configuration)
[ERROR] location: class org.apache.phoenix.util.PropertiesUtil

Trying it out now.
