Olivier Lamy commented on CONTINUUM-1748:
-----------------------------------------
I won't use the patch.
This kind of check must be done in the core/api part and not in the ui part.

> Project: Continuum
> Issue Type: Bug
> Affects Versions: 1.1
> Environment: Windows XP
> Reporter: Jevica Arianne B. Zurbano
> Assignee: Olivier Lamy
> Fix For: 1.2
>
> Attachments: CONTINUUM-DuplicateInstallation_InstallationAction.patch, CONTINUUM-DuplicateInstallation_InstallationActionProperties.patch

>
> Installations > Add
> 1. Select either Tool or Environment Variable in Installation Type
> 2. Add an existing Name in the field
> 3. Click Save.
> Actual Result:
> Accepts duplicate Name.
> In adding installations in Profiles, there's a drop-down list of Installations that makes it confusing what to select if they have the same Name.
