subversion installation problem

Hi everyone...

 

I'm trying to install Subversion on a Red Hat Entreprise 3 Server. I'm
trying to install a 1.1.4 version of subversion.

For installation subversion needs apr and apr-utils to be installed.

 

When i try to install them (either apr or apr-util) it tells me :

The file /usr/lib/libapr-0.so.0 from installation of apr-0.9.5-0.2 is in
conflict with the file from package  httpd-2.0.46-56.ent

 

What should i do ?

Upgrade apache ? try another package...

Is anyone had the same problem ?

Is ther any chance you can install a newer release of SVN?  The
package you're installing is over a year old and SVN has had 2
relatively major releases since it was created.  It won't necessarily
fix your apr version issue (current release notes indicate that Apache
2.0.49 is required, and APR 0.9.7), but why run such an old version in
the first place?
