[jira] [Created] (MINIFICPP-2909) Add AWS credential configuration strategies to AWSCredentialsService
Gábor Gyimesi created MINIFICPP-2909:
----------------------------------------
Summary: Add AWS credential configuration strategies to AWSCredentialsService
Key: MINIFICPP-2909
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MINIFICPP-2909
Project: Apache NiFi MiNiFi C++
Issue Type: Improvement
Reporter: Gábor Gyimesi
Assignee: Gábor Gyimesi
Fix For: 1.1.0
AWSCredentialsService currently only supports manually entered credentials and the default AWS credentials chain. The credential options included in the default credential chain cannot be selected specifically. This causes an issue that a credential that is prioritized in the chain is selected instead of the intended credential option. We should add a new property to be able to select a specific credential option we intend to use for AWS. Additionally we should deprecate the use of credentials on S3 processors and only use the credentials provided by the controller service in the future.
