## Question
I have tried to setup DORA metrics for Azure DevOps but I cannot get DevLake to recognise my production deployments. In my organisation all pipelines use (Stages)[https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/devops/pipelines/process/stages?view=azure-devops&tabs=yaml] to define deployments to a given environment, but for what I can see from the documentation the transformation rules can match either the pipeline name or the job name, not the stage names. Is this a know limitation or will stages be supported at some point?

@CamilleTeruel I think the use of stages is pretty standard for deployment pipelines, or at least it is in my company. Stages offer several advantages for grouping jobs together, and there can be very good reasons why steps/tasks are performed by different jobs within the same stage. One such example is that you can run two jobs in parallel while you can't run two steps within the same job in parallel, another is that some steps can have different agent requirements (e.g. linux vs window or even serverless).
So yes, I would say supporting stages is a key feature for users of Azure DevOps.

For a given build, the plugin gets details with the timeline endpoint (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/azure/devops/build/timeline/get).
This returns a list of "stages", "jobs" and "tasks" (and also "phases" and "checkpoints").
For example, for the following toy `azure-pipelines.yml`:
```yaml
name: azure-job
trigger:
- main
jobs:
- job: "job_1"
pool:
vmImage: ubuntu-latest
steps:
- script: echo "Starting job 1"
displayName: 'log-start-job1'
- script: sleep 600
displayName: 'build'
- script: echo "Finished job 1"
displayName: 'log-end-job1'
- job: "job_2"
pool:
vmImage: ubuntu-latest
steps:
- script: echo Goodbye!
displayName: 'Goodbye-step'
```
the timeline endpoint responds with:
- 3 "jobs" (2 from the file + a 'Finalize build' job),
- 13 "tasks"! (4 steps from the file + 9 others)
- 1 implicit "stage" called `__default`
- 1 "phase" and 1 "checkpoint".
Given this hierarchy of task types, we needed to decide which level to map to Devlake's CICDTask.
I chose the "job" level because "tasks" are too fine-grained (and contain a lot of extra tasks not declared in the file and hard to exclude if not by matching name to a bunch of regexes) and stages seemed too coarse-grained.
We didn't plan on adding support for stages, but if it's needed, we can add an option to select the level to map to.

Just one more follow-up question, the reason I am interested in DevLake was to get DORA metrics, and I see the Azure DevOps plugin should provide that. However I also see that this plugin does not currently support the Issue tracker Data Model, which I thought would be necessary to capture Change failure Rate.
Does this plugin support all 4 DORA metrics?
