After further thought, I think I should probably fix this, just as I
fixed the JDK 1.3 failures earlier -- that's what these regression tests
are for, to catch failures on platforms you don't test in your sandbox.

I don't run derbynet in my derbyall suite, so the failures seen here are
due to SQLException differences. Perhaps someone who runs derbynet can
scratch that itch?
