[mentors] how do we update VCL incubator status page

Mentors,
Some of us just became aware that we're supposed to be keeping this page up to
date:
http://incubator.apache.org/projects/vcl.html
I just tried checking out a copy of
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/public/trunk/site-author/projects
to update it. However, it seems I don't have access to check in any changes.
Am I checking out the right thing? Also, can one of you fill in some of the
dates in the tables under "Incubation work items"?

Thanks for checking in to this so quickly. http vs https was indeed the
problem.
After fighting with ant trying to get site-publish updated on my local
machine, I finally decided to try it on people.a.o which worked much better.
I've updated our page under /www/incubator.apache.org/projects and the clutch
page. Now we just have to wait for the changes to propagate.

You're in the proper group. Are you using http? If you want to commit,
you must use https.
