How to include an empty folder in a ZIP file

I have noticed that an empty folder is excluded from a ZIP file.
Is it possible to include an empty folder in a ZIP file ?

Ignoring CVS and other similar (often present, rarely
wanted) files and directories is part of Ant's
defaultexcludes behavior at the core of its
filescanning capabilities and is IMHO not going
anywhere (relax!).

Question: Does the new version of Ant's zip task which NOW includes empty
dirs, smart enough NOT to include cvs subdirs or I have to tell it to,
specifically?

Thanks

There is a regression in 1.6.2 that prevents empty directories from being
included in ZIP files. IIRC this was corrected in 1.6.3
