This is how it will look like by default:
!Metadata with arrow.png|width=700!
And this is after expanding:
!Metadata expanded.png|width=700!

I'm using unicode chars ▽ (#x25bd) and ▷ (#x25b7) directly in JS code, it works in Chrome and Firefox on Mac. Any concerns with this approach? See also [this article|http://tutorialzine.com/2014/12/you-dont-need-icons-here-are-100-unicode-symbols-that-you-can-use/].
