[jira] Resolved: (CXF-2223) Proxy authentication failure with SSL tunneling

Daniel Kulp resolved CXF-2223.
------------------------------

       Resolution: Fixed
    Fix Version/s: 2.2.6
                   2.1.9
         Assignee: Daniel Kulp

I believe this is now resolved by setting a default Authenticator for the VM. It definitely sucks though. I also have to real way to test this so if someone could verify, that would be great.

> We are facing the very same issue as the one described at the following URL:
> Https transport appears not to send proxy-authorization within the CONNECT operation as it should.
> Olivier Billard's workaround works just fine but requires java programming, and makes it impossible to configure proxy related properties in a simple manner.
