[jira] [Commented] (TAP5-2484) Zone should re-render its body unless the triggered event event handler provides some kind of render rsult

Howard M. Lewis Ship commented on TAP5-2484:
--------------------------------------------

This is actually very tricky; we'd have to pass the Zone's server-side component id down to the client, and pass that information back up to the server in the Ajax request.

> When a Zone is updated (via a triggering link or form) and the event handler for the triggered component does not provide any rendering result (or add anything to the AjaxResponseRenderer), then the Zone should, by default, re-render its body.
