maven 1.1-beta-1

Has anyone else tried using the cactus maven plugin
1.7 with maven 1.1-beta-1?

According to
http://maven.apache.org/reference/backwards-compatibility.html,
"project.xml files that used to work in older versions
of Maven may now present parse errors."

Sure enough, I get:

org.apache.maven.MavenException: Error parsing
project.xml
'C:\.maven\cache\cactus-maven-1.7\project.xml'

Hi Dale,

I believe your issue is the same as
http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CACTUS-217. Eric has submitted a path
and we need to apply it ASAP (sorry Eric for the lag).
