svg image and FOP

Hi all,

please, can anybody tell me if <svg:image xlink:"href=data ...> is already
implemented?
If not, is anybody working on it?


If it is already implemented, can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

For demonstration purpose I attached a simple fo-file, it's called
imagedata.fo.
Further you can find the file rect.svg which can be viewed with a browser
without problems -
just to be sure that the data used in the fo-file are not corrupt.
I know I could create a rectangle much easier with svg:rect -
but I want to keep my example small.
