[jira] [Commented] (AIRFLOW-2318) Separate table and file names on Redshift/S3 Transfer

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AIRFLOW-2318?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16851836#comment-16851836 ]

Andrew Harmon commented on AIRFLOW-2318:
----------------------------------------

anyone working on this? is it a duplicate of AIRFLOW-2862? I thin the s3_key should also be added as a templated field to further increase flexibility. I can tackle this if no one else working on it.

> Separate table and file names on Redshift/S3 Transfer
> -----------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: AIRFLOW-2318
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AIRFLOW-2318
> Project: Apache Airflow
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: aws
> Reporter: Kengo Seki
> Assignee: neil90
> Priority: Major
> Labels: redshift
>
> For now, RedshiftToS3Transfer and S3ToRedshiftTransfer requires that
> the table on Redshift and the file on S3 must have the same name.
> [As discussed on another issue|https://github.com/apache/incubator-airflow/pull/3161#discussion_r179654982], this limitation should be loosen so that users can specify those names indivisually.
