Minutes: JDO TCK Conference Call Friday April 17, 9 am Pacific Daylight Time (PDT)

Posted by Craig L Russell <cr...@oracle.com>.
Attendees: Michael Bouschen, Craig Russell

Agenda:

1. JDO 3.1: Need to go through change lists in JIRA for 3.1 RC1 and 3.1 to prepare JCP Change Log

This is needed for the JCP process. JIRA can create the change log semi-automatically. AI Craig

2. New JIRA "Change minimum JRE to be 1.7+" https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-738

Needs discussion. Perhaps JRE 8 is what we should aim for since Java 7 is due to be out of maintenance shortly.

3. New comment on JIRA "Standardize field/property converters" https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-709

This appears to be a good addition to JDO 4.0. Needs substantial work, including test cases, updating xml schema, etc.

4. New comment on JIRA "Oracle spec page on JDO does not list mrel 3/JDO 3.0" https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-671

This page should be updated once the JCP Maintenance Release for JDO 3.1 is published. AI Craig
