Writing math formulae in JSPWiki (Math Jax?)

Hi all,

I am writing in JSPWiki for a project and I would like to be able to write math formulae. My
question is: is it possible to integrate or use Math Jax (www.mathjax.org ) in JSPWiki?

I have explored the web and found a link in (https://jspwiki-wiki.apache.org/Wiki.jsp?page=JSPWikiSites) to a project wiki:

MathEL-Wiki[1] - A slightly customized version of JSPWiki 2.8.3 that has been enabled for
MathML[2] presentation mathematics. It now also supports [La]~TeX input through the
integrated JavaScript-based MathJax[3] display engine.

which is out of order. Any suggestion, link, idea will be appreciated!

Pedro.

Hi all,

We tried Haddock template in JSPWiki:

but we had some problems with Categories and Tables.

Then, someone in my project inserted the snippet of MathJax:

<script src='https://cdn.mathjax.org/mathjax/latest/MathJax.js?config=TeX-AMS-MML_HTMLorMML'></script>

in commonheader.jsp in /templates/default, and it worked. It is wonderful!!

Thank you Peter K. (at MathJax) and Dirk for all your suggestions,

Pedro

Hi Pedro,

JSPWiki support for math formulae would indeed be an excellent addition.

I did a quick implementation of MathJax on top of the Haddock Template,
with support for Tex/LaTeX and AsciiMath.
It works great, but you need to be careful when mixing wiki-markup and
math markup.
