The last tomcat-8-trunk build [1] was on Dec 01 16:40 for r1642701.
I've checked the change logs for tomcat-8-trunk and I can't see any structural changes in svn that might have caused this (the Tomcat 8/9 split was around a month earlier).
I've checked the change logs for the Tomcat buildbot config and the last change there was mid-November 2014 as part of the Tomcat 8/9 split.
Other builds on the same build slave appear to be triggering correctly.
I've explicitly made a change to Tomcat 8 trunk today to try and trigger a build without success.
At this point I've run out of ideas short of restarting the slave and/or master.
