[PATCH] appending logging statements

During restart of James, old logging statements are deleted.
If SAR-INF/environment.xml is replaced by the attached file (rename it to environment.xml), new logging statements
will be appended.

But I would like to replace the file src/conf/james-server.xml by the attached file, to
make appending of logging statements the default.

(By the way: The time will be in ms not in human readable format. I think it is not possible to change that,
  without changing excalibur logger).
