[jira] [Commented] (OAK-641) Improved benchmark tooling

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-641?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13581248#comment-13581248 ]

Jukka Zitting commented on OAK-641:
-----------------------------------

First take in revision 1447698.

You can now run benchmarks like this:

{code}
$ java -jar oak-run-*.jar benchmark Oak-Memory Login SetProperty
{code}

i.e. you use the "benchmark" keyword and then list the repository implementations/configurations you want tested and the tests you want executed.

>             Project: Jackrabbit Oak
>          Issue Type: Improvement

> Our current benchmarking code is a bit inconvenient to execute and especially to profile. I'd like to move it to oak-run where it could easily be executed from the command line and to enhance the codebase to better fit the needs of Oak.
