connection refused

Hi,

i'm running the tomcat as standalone. When i try to access via browser,
typing http://myhost.com:8080/, i get the warning message:

Netscape's network connection was refused by the server myhost.com:8080.
The server may not be accepting connections or may be busy. Try connecting
again later.

Any help?

Thanks in advance

Warning? What exact error number do you get?

Have you tried omitting the 8080?
