There is a number of maven archetypes with ServiceMix. The current ones generates for example CXF sample project that is Spring based. It would be good to have counter examples that is OSGi Blueprint based as well.
2)
And also update the current maven archetypes to use best practice. They use old maven bundle plugin, and has a zillion packages to import etc. Maybe this can be cleaned up.

Agree, we can also make some cleanup on the archetypes as some archetypes are provided by Karaf (for instance blueprint generic bundle).
