As KIP-5 ([https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/KYLIN/KIP-5+Integration+with+Hudi)] described, Kylin can add the direct support for Apache Hudi ([http://hudi.apache.org/)] as the data source, as an alternative/supplement for Hive.
