Error at call Xalan under AIX

Hallo,

We 've downloaded and installed the xml-xalan version for AIX 4.3 and set up
the path envirement to libxalan-c1_0.a and libxerces-c1_3.a .

If we start testXSLT the we get the following error message:

exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program testXSLT because of the following
errors:
        0509-027 Member shr_comm.o is not found or file is not an archive.
        0509-027 Member shr_comm.o is not found or file is not an archive.
        0509-022 Cannot load library libpthreads.a[shr_comm.o].
        0509-026 System error: A file or directory in the path name does not
exi

It seems that a library libpthreads.a is missing but this library was not in
the distribution.
Whence we can download the requested library or what is wrong in our
envirement ?
Can anyone help ?
